Another year...

I posted in a comment this November. December is still unseasonably warm...how many more before it's no longer unseasonable I wonder...

Well, I missed November this year.
I mean I failed to post here during the month of November.
November was busy.
It was Dominator related. Blame Karma :)
Just enjoying a drop of Dunkerton's Black Fox cider. V nice. Organic. Stronger than the cider I'd usually go for, but I'm going for clean drinks, and not fixating on the alcohol content.
I'm going to try and get cak to writing regularly online.
Not here though. My wife and eldest son both rave about wordpress. I'm migrating...

I made these fish for teh boys, a little Winter solstice present :)

Darkness setting in...

It's a funny month. A week after the clock change, and 'time' still doesn't feel quite right. According to recent reading, I probably run on a 25 hr day cycle too...that must compound stuff!

The boys are up and down...that could be the darkness, the cold, the shutting down of the warmth, colourful sights and scent of the outdoors...or it might just be cos they can't decide "what" they want for xmas lol

Gimme that Pineapple!

Nature of the bist (o)

Whoa, missed a couple of months there.

I felt sure video could be added to posts last time I was here...maybe I've just forgotten how? Anyway, what's been happening? Don't ask me, I'd need a diary or something to recall that kind of thing ;) This year mostly I have been watching Series 4 of Northern Exposure...

Chips

Here's to sunny days, warm clothes and chips ;)

Not the case today, but yesterday at Hunst'on the sky was very blue. We hit the beach and hunted shell-treasure for quite a while. It was warm but we didn't have ice cream, although Rafe asked if we could. Grabbed some chips though!

Cyclamen

Well, who'd have thought that by this November, we wouldn't even be eating ice cream!? Swedish Glace - does it count? Mmmmmmmmm, ok modify - me and G no longer eat dairy ice cream. Not from the freezer anyhoo *ahem* Anyway, aside from that, check out this greedy B, a little out of time with his brethren, still filling his sacks (sic) on the 9th November! Dah, whatever, it's all too much for me to think about =)

Sunglasses

Taken in late July, George chose this pic - after some serious 'space-tweaking' - for GbD IV.

We had a few days at Blakeney when this was taken; they got progressively more difficult as our rations ran out and we had to eat the local fare. We'll go back though, just with bigger bags of grub ;)

Trees R Us

R's been bringing home sketches for a while now, but most of them have been recycled. The foliage has transformed what could have been another plate of sausages into a great study of my favourite subject, eh? Talking of which, we've almost stripped the apple tree...the kitchen is a bustling spicy chutney production line; the flowering cherry has gone, although it's suckers will persist a while longer I guess; and the lilac has had a trim, so the BT lines are free for the unfettered shifting of data for many months to come ;)

Hoses

Water has been a constant feature of August! We enjoyed our holiday all the same, but don't have many pictures to show for it, having spent most of our time running from one covered area to the next...tea, chip and gift shops mainly ;) So, here's one I took in July, in the front garden.

House leeks

The semperivum stare.
I would have shown the flowers, had they survived the barrage of balls from the nearby footie pitch ;)
